Battery Chargers
A DC-DC battery charger takes power from the vehicle alternator and charges the leisure battery in a controlled three-stage profile while you drive. It is the practical way to keep a house battery topped up in winter or on long journeys when solar output is low. The charger also compensates for voltage drop along the cable run from the starter battery, which a simple relay or split-charge system does not.
